The HARK! Show is on this year! KALEID Gallery has an annual show displaying between 5 and 12 creations of over 40 artists.
One of my Hark! pieces is this little box made of recycled paper then painted with nontoxic paint and glue.
This little guy is sculpted out of used paper, for example junk mail, food packaging and cardboard boxes. It has 4 magnets on the hands to hold messages up in the air. The magnets were rescued from a discarded shower curtain. The stand is a combination of the stick from a broken window blind, a blue tube left over from new construction and a cool little copper stand I found at Goodwill Thrift store. It is currently at KALEID Gallery in San Jose, CA. If you are into a wide variety of art, you will love KALEID Gallery.
