Beach rock coffee table was crafted using recycled fibers and materials. This piece was painted with low/no VOC water based paint. I used a thin layer of solvent free resin on the top. I am leaning away from resin because I’m not convinced that it is eco-friendly just because Stone Coat Countertops produces it without solvents. I have several gallons to use, then I will likely stick to ecofriendly paints.
Here is another coffee table crafted using recycled materials. My idea was to give the impression that a large stone is balanced on a smaller stone.

This table and cabinet will resemble cast iron when complete. I had it suggested to me that I should post some pieces in different stages of my process. I plan on adding sparkles and dangly bits, too. Hopefully I will have an update soon.
