Up Dated Kitchen


In this kitchen hight and interest were added by building focal points on top of the cabinets. I textured and Painted these additions. I also added medallions and painted them as well as the frames of the lights and the frames on the glass cabinet doors to look like bronze. Then I painted part of the backsplash and darkened the grout lines. Finally, I antiqued the cabinets to bump up the contrast. The dark bronze color I used to antique the cabinets helped turn them more of a brown rather than the pinkish hugh they were before.
