This kitchen and breakfast area have\u00a0these gorgeous cabinets with burled wood inlay. The designer had me\u00a0create a\u00a0french rub on\u00a0the walls.

Then, the plan was to add a metallic band\u00a0around the perimeter of the kitchen ceiling.\u00a0\"dev3\"<\/p>\n

The miter cut helps to make the faux more convincing.

I also faux finished the lower walls in the hallway leading into the kitchen. The chair rail molding and baseboards I finished in an\u00a0aged bronze.<\/p>\n

For the powder room across the hall, molding was used to create harlequins, then textured wallpaper was added. For the molding, I used the same aged bronze finish and inside the remaining harlequins is the french buff.<\/p>\n
